Why Do We Keep Sukkoth or Feast of Booths?

The Feast of Booths or Feast of Tabernacles pictures the Millennial Reign of Yahshua with His saints. The earth will be abundantly blessed. Nations shall flow to Jerusalem to worship the King of kings, " And it shall come to pass that everyone who is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall go up from year to year to worship the King, Yahweh of Hosts, and to keep the feast of Tabernacles. And it shall be that whichever of the families of the earth do not come up to Jerusalem to worship the king, Yahweh of hosts on them will be no rain. If the family of Egypt will not come up and enter in, they shall have no rain; they shall receive the plague with which Yahweh strikes the nations of those who do not come up to the Feast of Tabernacles. This shall be the punishment of Egypt and the punishment of all the nations that do not come up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles. In that day "Set-Apartness to Yahweh" shall be engraved on the bells of the horses. The pots in Yahweh's house shall be like the pots before the altar. (Zech. 14: 16-19)
This feast lasts for seven days, from the 15th to the 21st of the seventh month (Lev.23: 34-36, 43), at the end of which there is an 8th Day celebration called the Great Day. This Great Day is the never-ending New Beginning. It is a time of freedom.

Rebellious nations that refuse to celebrate the Feast of Sukkoth will not be allowed entry into Jerusalem. [Nahum 1:15] "Behold, on the mountains the feet of him who brings good tidings, who proclaims peace! O Yahudah, keep your appointed feasts, perform your vows, for the wicked one shall no more pass through you; He is utterly cut off."

During that millennium dispensation of the Feast of Sukkoth, when utopia becomes finally reality, Truth and Justice shall reign, supreme. Yahweh's Truth will permeate the life of the righteous. When Yahweh's Mountain is established on top of all other mountains, when His Temple is exalted above all hills, nations shall flaw to Jerusalem with gladness of heart. They shall say, "Come and let us go to the Mountain of Yahweh, to the Temple of the Elohim of Jacob; He will teach us His ways, and we shall walk in His paths... Out of Zion shall go forth the Torah, Is.2: 2-4."

This time, this DAY of blessedness we announce and look forward to in the keeping of Sukkoth until all is fulfilled, as Yahshua said in Matt.17: 19.
